The Many Faces of Storm Damage

Storm damage takes many forms and leaves behind an extensive list of potential problems. Living in the Midwest we are faced with multiple types of mother nature related events in most every season of the year. Heavy snowfalls in the winter creates the atmosphere for blizzard like conditions, piling snow on top of snow in a short period of time. Hail storms in the spring and fall can cause a considerable amount of damage to your property. Torrential rains in the summer can be the perfect recipe of flooding conditions. When the ground has been deprived of water, preventing it from being absorbed as quickly as it falls. Lightning has the potential to strike in most any season and has the ability to be the ignition source to extremely dangerous fires. It is important to always be aware of the weather around you and never take for granted how quickly conditions can take a turn. Always hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
