About SERVPRO of Lake Geneva
The year was 1986. Bill and Jane Weber had a vision of building upon their mutual understanding and knowledge in business and opened their first SERVPRO location. Starting from the bottom and climbing their way to the top, they invested in a few quality employees and faith that their aspirations would succeed. With two employees, two vehicles and a shop stationed in Beloit, their journey began. That very same location is now used as an overflow shop, housing state of the art equipment used in our work sites. The following year, another huge step was taken in the purchase of their SERVPRO of Lake Geneva location, offering the growth of their business by 37,000 square feet. The story could have ended there, but after years of operating their separate locations, a move was made to Janesville, giving them the opportunity to combine their SERVPRO locations. With the facility space in abundance, they were able to host a variety of training and mentoring programs for the State of Wisconsin. Over the course of the following 24 years, they were the head trainers for Wisconsin and Minnesota, finishing only when corporate took over operations. Always seeking to further their reach in the neighboring communities, they invested in the expansion in the addition of Racine WI. Being able to provide quality care and expertise at the worst of times has been a continuous passion of the Weber's which has extended through their 30+ years of experience. Jane, who had been an active and highly respected nurse, had made the decision to retire from the medical field and fully focus her attention on the establishment of their businesses.
Following in the same direction with the same passion was their son Tim, who, after 21 years of working for the company, partnered with SERVPRO. Keeping with the tight family bonds, Alicia Weber joined forces as well, completing the circle of family ownership and management. Having deep roots to the community and the businesses they run has been the propelling force in the expansion of their SERVPRO locations. Who you are and what you do matters to them. You may see them enjoying a Badger Hockey game or in the audience to cheer for Badger Basketball, which happens to be a few of their favorite pass times. Last, but probably the best part of the SERVPRO family is Morgan girl, weighing in at just over 100 pounds, their yellow Labrador. She is a therapy dog that spends her time visiting nursing homes and Veterans hospitals, cheering up those in need. Through many years, the ups and downs, they have been become a pivotal and vital role in their community. Their compassion and attention to providing highly trained employees gives our customers the peace of mind they need when things go wrong.
